1227: Dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium oxide

1227:

Dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium oxide, also known as Zeolite, benzalkonium chloride, algaecide, DDBAC.

Performance and use:

1227 is a cationic surfactant, a non-oxidizing bactericide, with a broad-spectrum, high-efficiency bactericidal and algae-killing ability, can effectively control the growth of bacteria and algae and slime in the water, and has a good slime peeling effect and certain It has the dispersing and penetrating effect of sulphate, and it also has certain degreasing, deodorizing ability and corrosion inhibition effect. 1227 has low toxicity, no cumulative toxicity, and is easily soluble in water, and is not affected by water hardness. Therefore, it is widely used in circulating cooling water systems in petroleum, chemical, electric power, textile and other industries to control bacteria in circulating cooling water systems. Algae grows and has special effects on killing sulfate-reducing bacteria. 1227 can be used as a bactericidal and anti-mildew agent, softener, antistatic agent, emulsifier, and conditioning agent in the textile printing and dyeing industry.

Instructions:

1227 is used as a bactericidal and algae-killing agent, and the general dosage is 50-100mg/L; as a slime stripping agent, the dosage is 200-300mg/L, and an appropriate amount of silicone defoamer can be added when needed. 1227 can be used in conjunction with other fungicides, such as isothiazolinone, glutaraldehyde, dithiocyanomethane, etc., and can have a synergistic effect, but it cannot be used together with chlorophenols. After the addition of 1227, the filth in the circulating water due to peeling should be filtered or removed in time to avoid deposition after the foam disappears. Do not mix 1227 with anionic surfactants, such as polyacrylic acid, hydrolyzed polyma, etc.
